Libby’s cheer journey began at just seven years old with Wildcats Cheerleading, when she couldn’t even manage a proper forward roll. From those early, wobbly beginnings, she has grown through nine years of hard work and determination into a confident, skilled athlete and a valued teammate.
Throughout her journey, Libby’s leadership and positivity have stood out. She was proudly named Captain twice, reflecting the encouragement, commitment, and energy she brings to every practice and performance. Her cheer career has also taken her around the world, travelling to Barcelona where her team were crowned Grand Champions, and representing Wildcats in America on two unforgettable occasions.
In 2023, Libby’s dedication and love for the sport were recognised when she was awarded Cheerleader of the Year. Now, alongside continuing her own cheer journey, Libby gives back as an assistant coach, inspiring the next generation of Wildcats with the same kindness, passion, and sparkle that have guided her from that very first forward roll to where she is today.
